I think for the site to be truly interactive, all residents should be able to post their blog entries.
HOW TO BE AN AUTHOR OF THIS BLOG
1. Send your email to avillapch@gmail.com. State your name and unit number.
2. You will receive an invitation to be an author of Avilla Blog in your email later.
3. Follow the instructions in the invitation email and sign in with your gmail account (getting a gmail account is very easy and fast. It is similar to yahoo mail/hotmail).
4. Set your profile name (display name) to be seen in the blog; e.g. AVB0X3A, YSWONG, LINGAM123, CIK SABARIAH, BEN A-XX-2 & etc.
5. Start blogging. We look forward to your posting.

There are 4 main place u can write/post/upload something on this blog:
ReplyDelete1. BLOG ARTICLES- The main articles like the one above this comments section. Follow the instructions in the blog article "HOW TO BE AN AUTHOR IN THIS BLOG" above to get an invitation to write/post blog articles.
2. COMMENTS SECTION- Situated at the end of every blog article and contains comments regarding the article posted. Anyone can post here irregardless of whether u have gmail or none.
3. Shoutmix column- at the right sidebar u can see a chat box. For normal chit chat or comments. Anyone can post here irregardless of whether u have gmail or none.
4. Photo gallery- You can post any photos at the photo gallery. Follow the instructions in the blog article "HOW TO BE AN AUTHOR IN THIS BLOG" above to get an invitation to upload photos.

ReplyDeleteThis morning around 7 something, at Petronas in front of our apartments, a woman's handbag got snatched by a group of Mat Rempits. No one dare to help the woman,even the Petronas worker were too afraid to come out from the store (maybe also because of they have been robbed last week).

The roof of the staircase exit at 15th flr, block B is leaking! The leaking part is just beside the time clocking system.
ReplyDeleteThe condition is really bad as the water drops and the floor is wet. The worse thing is the water leak had spoit the light and the paint is melt. I wonder why nothing has been done as whenever the guard do his rounds of time clocking, sure he notice about it. It have been happenned more than 2 weeks and nothing is done.
I am worried the leaking might cause electric shock and cause fire.

New management? - Our AA newly formed commitees or "old management"-IOI property?

This morning I received a call from IOI maintenance office, they said that since the JMC has been formed and now they are in the midst of tranferring/hand over AA to "new management", I should then complain to the new management. She also explained that the water leaking part is at common area, which is under new mgt control. Unless the water leaking is within the unit, then it is still under their care.
I said the leaking problem was happened quite a long time ago and I had complaint several times before, then she said will take note and at the same time she will report this matter to new mgt.

ReplyDeleteSorry, im not the commitees member, i dunno what's going on between 'old' and 'new' management. But from my point of view, till June of 09, the maintenance fees we still pay to IOI, they should take responsibility on common area, am i rite?
Btw, i didnt see any action taken by our 'new management'. Few issue we discussed during the meeting, i.e access card to lobby, CCTV, record on every outcomer....etc..few months have pass, nothing happen, no action taken...all juz ć–‹talk (talk only no action)...

ReplyDeleteI totally understand your concerns because the committee are also residents here. We are not workers from outside who dont care about the apartment. Currently we are looking for a management company to take over from IOI. Hopefully we can get it done asap. Mohan, especially, have been working extra hard to finalise this matter. Pls be patient as the committee members are also inexperienced in this JMB matter.
If you or any other residents here have any contributions or ideas, pls do email us or join us for the meetings. As of now we really need recommendations for a reliable property management company. Any residents with contacts or experience, pls come forward and offer your assistance.
As for the residents card, we could not implement anything as we do not have the full records of residents and also the authority to do anything as IOI have yet to hand over the things to us for the past few months.
You are right that they are still responsible to handle the management of Avilla until they hand everything over to the new management company (which we are still in the process of finding).

I dun hv any property management company contact, but i do hv some alarm / CCTV system supplier contact, if u need the contact pls let me know.
I understand within this period, IOI still hold the management right to Avilla, b4 they hand over, new management cant do anything rite? But we still need some body talk to IOI, let them know the problem we are facing. i.e the boomgate, complaint from IT23, CCTV...IOI should fix all problem b4 they handover...

accordingly, we need to compile all the defects to forward to ioi before our DLP ends. so if u do see/have any defects, do email us the picture and description. It will make our job much easier as we go along. especially after the apartment is handed over to the new management company.
irregardless of the takeover, IOI is still responsible for the defects as we are still under the DLP. so pls INSIST they fix it for you even though they try to push it to the "new" management. INSIST on it.
